As a collector of Air Sickness Bags. I am interested in obtaining new specimens. If you happen to encounter any kind of sickness bag, would you kindly send me one (unless it's plain white)? Here's the "corporate" address:

Steve Silberberg
9 Third St.
Hull, MA 02045
USA

Actually, airlines change their bags every few years, so if you ever notice a change, please snatch that bag and send it to me! I would be very grateful for any help you might provide. Many thanks in advance.

Lydia Leith Brexit

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Madeline Rys
Print or Image Color: White, Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue, White
Another winner from Lydia Leith. The bag says, "Retch For The Stars"
BREXIT
SICK BAG
IS IT REALLY BETTER OUT THAN IN?

Maniac

Approximate Vintage: 1980
Print or Image Color: Black, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Black
This bag was supposedly released by the studio to theatres as a promotional item. While I've been told this was for the 1980 film Maniac, the font looks newer than that. Perhaps some horror buff could elucidate. The person I obtained this from said, "I got these from the movie promoter/producers estate"

The bag says
Complimentary BARF BAG
CAUTION: Certain scenes in tonight's movie "MANIAC" may cuase acute stomach distress. Viewers are urged to keep this bag handy at all times. After use, please discard quickly in proper sanitary receptacle, as bag may evntually leak.
Enjoy the show!

Generic German Seasickness

Received From: Herb Schingoethe
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Exactly like other Generic German Seasickness Bag, except this has a Kard-O-Seal bottom.

Navy Generic

Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Pretty nice looking bag. Good on American and British ships, German flights, Italian vehicles, and ... French ambulances? French Hospitals? Maybe French bars?

Brittany Ferries

Received From: Steve Jones
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
You know as much about this bag as I do. It should probably just classified as a Generic The only way I figured out this bag's origin is that the postmark was from Wales. According to Steve, it "is only used on Brittany Ferries as far as I know."

It is now many years later and I have received a 2nd bag identical to this one, and despite the generic look and feel the swapper said it was from Brittany Ferries

Avianca

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Very similar to the other green plastic Avianca bag, but they decided to do some rearranging of text and images and also disposed of the Avianca brand name.

Japan Air Lines (JAL)

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Bob Grove
Print or Image Color: White, Gray
Background / Bag Color: Gray, White
This Waterproof Disposal Bag has all sorts of non-English instructions in Japanese, Chinese, Korean and some other language that looks like Chinese. Maybe you can weigh-in on this conundrum and let me know the mystery language.

Swiss

Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
The ever-evolving Swiss bag goes even more minimalist.

Turkish Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2019
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: White, Black
Background / Bag Color: Gray
Almost exactly like the 2018 offering except they decided to ad the words "Disposal Bag" in Turkish and English on the tear strip.

Naviera Armas

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Vidas Vekerotas
Print or Image Color: Red, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
A little more corporate than their last offering, but nice bold blocky description with the name still italicized.

Air Niugini

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Gerhard Lang
Print or Image Color: Maroon and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Almost identical to previous version except that the two word phrase Airsickness Bag has become the three word phrase Air Sickness Bag.

Spike & Mike's Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as the 2000 model except that their web site was acquired by ifilm.com!

Air KBZ

Received From: Bob Grove
Print or Image Color: Black, Navy
Background / Bag Color: Yellow, White
Cool bag with 2 Thai looking guys (Myanmarese?) straddling a weird rocket-like apparatus, oddly reminiscent of the Ambiguously Gay Duo from SNL. Air KBZ's catch phrase is Flying Beyond Expectations. If you have no expectations, they surpass them.

Biman Bangladesh

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: Xusheng Chen
Print or Image Color: Green, White
Background / Bag Color: Red, White
Biman cleans up its formerly busy bag to a a white background with green writing. All the text is in English, so I guess everyone from Bangladesh speaks it.

Corendon Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Received From: Pat Roberts
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This Turkish bag was purchased on eBay. Bold star logo, but not much else grace the bag.

Val'ferry

Approximate Vintage: 2019
Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
This French Ferry company makes a huge mistake by including an apostrophe in its company name, thereby making any and all internet / database searches that much more difficult and less accurate.

The bag says "La Caraibe en toute Liberte" which I think means "The Caribbean is completely free"

China Southern

Approximate Vintage: 2019
Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
I'm actually not even sure this is a China Southern bag as it could easily be a Chinese generic. However, the font is identical to a previous China Southern bag so I'm basing my classification on that. OK Air (also Chinese) has a similar font but a much different bag design

Air France

Approximate Vintage: 2019
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Blue, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
FSC is apparently the new big dog in barf bags as their logo now appears on the bottom of the bag.

In 2019, Air France changes the number format on the bottom of the bag ... for no obvious reason.

Hover Speed

Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This is almost identical to the current Hover Speed bag, except the horizontal laminar lines don't go to the end of the bag, like they do in the current version.

Malaysia

Received From: Tim Lemmon
Print or Image Color: Gray and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Wow, is this a barf bag, a pot trivet, or the world's largest doily with an old TV tube in the middle? Whatever it is, some designer spent a lot of time with either a Spirograph or Benoit Mandelbrot. The thingie in the center of the bag is slightly different than this other similar one.
