As a collector of Air Sickness Bags. I am interested in obtaining new specimens. If you happen to encounter any kind of sickness bag, would you kindly send me one (unless it's plain white)? Here's the "corporate" address:

Steve Silberberg
9 Third St.
Hull, MA 02045
USA

Actually, airlines change their bags every few years, so if you ever notice a change, please snatch that bag and send it to me! I would be very grateful for any help you might provide. Many thanks in advance.

Ocean Air

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Ocean Air sounds as ridiculous as an airline called Land Air or Space Air. This bag is equally as simple as the other one(s) but has black instructions.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Richard David Glueck
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Note the fine brush strokes on this masterpiece. Same as other Rio-Sul Gray bag, except this one is NOT a Poliembalagens product.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
This cursive writing sample from Rio-Sul is virtually identical to the other blue cursive version, except they moved the box to the left and got rid of the Poliembalagans name.

SOL Linhas Aereas

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Red, Yellow, Blue, White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
They took the Microsoft Windows Logo, streamlined it into curvy artistic glyphs and came up with their own logo. In fact, if Cupcake Wars ever does a spread for SOL, the cupcake topping shapes would be easy to copy from the logo.

Ocean Air

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Ocean Air's team of English Translators use the Portuguese-like spelling of comfort as "confort". Later on another bag, they get it right and flip the instructions and airline name.

Passaredo Linhas Aereas

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Yellow, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Cool splash of yellow on this Brazilian bag. Interesting website ending in .com.br instead of just .br.

Air Bagan

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Teal, Pink
Background / Bag Color: White
One of the nicest barf bags from all of Myanmar (after Burma Airways and Yangon anyway)

TUIfly

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Gerhard Lang
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: Yellow
This is the German Version of the "Take it With a Smile" TUIfly bag. It's only 19.99 Euros to fly one-way, which in the USA in 2008 comes out to about $13,000 at current exchange rates.

Air Mauritius

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Air Mauritius downsizes its logo and lowers it on the bag. Has a tiny star in the fold.

TAP Air Portugal

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Now a member of the Star Alliance, so the logo changes slightly, but mention of the Star Alliance is prominent.

Webjet

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Black, Green
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Much like the other Webjet bag except this one says "connecte-se", whatever that signifies.

BRA

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Blue, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
No, it's not a Bra, it's a Barf Bag. Do NOT be tempted to use this bag in order to enhance your bustline.

GOL

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Mauricio Canosa
Print or Image Color: Orange and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as earlier GOL bag except they dropped the phone number for the sales office. They no longer tell you to consult your travel agent.

NHT Linhas Aereas

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Orange, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Another plastic Brazilian bag, this one from a carrier that started operations in 2006. I have no idea what NHT stands for, but I do like that the logo is printed on a kite.

NHT was sold an will change its name to Brava Linhas Aereas but for the moment operates under the old name NHT.

Tap Air Portugal

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Jan Tomasek
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
TAP goes green, but the bag is still unispired, just like this description.

Trip Linhas Aéreas

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Trip is a good name for an airline, kind of like a hypothetical "Vacation Airlines:. This Brazilian bag is typical blue on white plastic.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: Purple and White
Thai updates its logo to a more clean and modernistic design. The inseam says VORAPAN PACKING CO. LTD. Made in Thailand Mar 2006.

Aeromexico

Received From: Sonle LeVan
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag sports the a smaller, scaled down head. Made from High Density Polyethelene. The numbers on the bottom right: 53 62 57 19

GOL

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Orange, White
This bag probably pre-dates all the other GOL bags even though it does have a web site on it. Who knows? Can someone edify me?

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Petr Hosek
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag was hard to classify since they print the identical message anywhere on the bottom half of the bag. It can be printed just shy of the bottom or almost 2 inches above the bottom. Are they all the same bag? Probably, with just some registration errors.
