OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Braniff

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Dark Blue
Braniff adds the catch phrase "Believe It!" to the bag. Although a more accurate phrase for this bag would be "Upheave It!"

They decided to italicize the directions, perhaps to match the logo. Airline name appears only once.

Braniff

Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
The Braniff Birdie is here to bring messages of joy and cheer to you, nauseous passenger. In fact, this bag harkens bag to a time when it was economical to have people write on the barf bag during flight -- something way too costly for the efficiency machines that airlines have become today.

Among other things, the bag says 'You may take it with you if you desire'. Your family will think your gift of chunks is an amazingly thoughtful gift -- Braniff hopes. Unlike other similar bag, nothing is printed on the bottom.

Brigade for Militar Transports

Received From: Mario Corea
Print or Image Color: Red and Green
Background / Bag Color: White
The donor said this Italian bag had something to do with the military, but it kind of looks more like a bag for bread. Actual Italian, Massimiliano Melis, says Effectively it seems to be a military item. In Pisa, Italian military aviation has an airport, and our army has a parachute brigade too. You can read the words printed on the bag as "46th aero brigade" that has its seat in Pisa. The brigade is primarily involved in humanitarian, fire fighting and civil protection activities.

Donor confusion. Did this come from Tom Leist or Mario Corea?

Britannia

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Red, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
There's no better representation of your airline than a helmeted Neptune in a Union Jack wheelchair!

Ah yes, the fat to thin striping paradigm.

Britannia (no thumb tab)

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Martin Powley
Exactly the same as the other Britannia bag, but this one has no thumb tab. The other one does. I am such a loser for distinguishing this. In fact, it's so hard to see in the scan that I used the same image for both bags. Sorry.

Dark Blue Logo on White. They cleaned the design of this bag up nicely.

British Airtours

Received From: Burkhard Walther
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This simplistic bag reminds us that British Airtours didn't always have a bent staple logo.

British Airtours

Approximate Vintage: 1987
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
The silly red angled underline seems eerily similar to that of British Air. I assume therefore that British Airtours was just a part of British Air.

British Airtours

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Roger Macrae
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White and Gray
A monochromatic version of the previous model, even more dull than its predecessor -- if that's possible.

British Airtours

Received From: Peter Brown
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This simplistic bag reminds us that British Airtours didn't always have a bent staple logo.

Exactly the same as the other British Airtours except this one is far narrower.

British Airways

Received From: Kevin Irvine
Print or Image Color: Navy, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Navy
British Airways' first attempt at a Barf Bag after changing over from BOAC is unremarkable

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1983
Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
On this particular bag, the German words identifying what this is (Wasserdichter Abrallbehälter) takes up 2 lines, unlike subsequent models.

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1984
Received From: Jen Chisholm
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
The instructions on the back look just fine, but not to the British Air management. See subsequent models...

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1984
Received From: AJ Jacobs
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
The instructions on the back look just fine, but not to the British Air management. See subsequent models... Identical to other 1984 bag except this one has a thumb tab.

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1985
Received From: Richard David Glueck
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as 1984 version, but the German instructions were looking a little cramped, necessitating a 3rd line.

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1986
Received From: Ken Pugh
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Savvy British Marketing moguls decided that German instructions really requires 3 lines of instructions instead of 2 as on the 1985 model.

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1987
Received From: Albert Oosenbrug
Print or Image Color: Red and Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
The reproduction of a highly detailed British coat-of-arms and crest in a 1 cm x 1 cm space looks a lot like the bad discount tattoo you got at 3 AM.

British Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1989
Received From: David Goldberg
This is EXACTLY the same as the other 1989 BA bag, except it has a straight top, instead of a serrated one. I know, picky, picky, picky.
