OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Air Seychelles

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
They Air Seychelles logo is now printed as a negative. This bag has a serrated top, unlike the other 2010 Air Seychelles.

Air Seychelles

They Air Seychelles logo is now printed as a negative. This bag has a straight top, unlike the other 2010 Air Seychelles which is serrated.

Air Siam

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is of unknown vintage. Siam changed its name to Thailand in 1939, but I don't suspect this bag is that old. One cool thing about the bag is the ornate draperies decorating the bag's top.

Air Slovakia

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
What an exquisite design job they did on this bag. It's actually quite beautiful, even if it does look like it's covered in pizzas with a roach on each slice. This is a bag design that truly 'works'. (PS: It's made in Bratislava, where the Wild and Crazy guys, Jorge and Yortuk are supposedly from).

Air Tahiti

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This is a fairly generic bag that doesn't say Tahiti anywhere on it. In fact, all it has is some French on the bottom telling you it is meant to dispose of chewing gum and others. However, the real clue is the Tahitian word "Mauruuru" meaning "Thank You".

Air Tahiti Nui

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Well they almost got the English right: This may use for Air Sickness. That's OK, the pretty flower on the bag makes up for the poor English usage.

Air Tahiti Nui

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to the previous Air Tahiti Nui bag except they printed a dotted line on the tear strip so that people wouldn't fumble with the bag trying maniacally to open it.

Air Transat

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: David Birtwell
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
The red 'a' is hiding from the rain under the blue 't'

Air Transat

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Christopher Smit
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to 1998 model except for new closing mechanism.

Air Transat

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Barry Day
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
OH NO! The bag, which used to have a smattering of color, went monochrome. Bite me!

Air Transat

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
The Lisa Simpson-like star logo looks eerily like the De Ster logo on the bottom of the bag.

Air Transat

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
This version has the same Lisa Simpson-like star logo, but the new manufacturer seems to think that the two French words "pour le" (for the) is one word, "pourle".

Air Transport Association (Sick of Taxes?)

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: Adina Young
Print or Image Color: White, Black, Blue, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White, Black, Blue, Gold
In 2011, in order to bolster a beleaguered economy, the US imposed new taxes on the airline industry. In order to protest this, the Air Transport Association came out with barf bags that say "Sick of Taxes?" Stop new airline taxes from driving up costs and reducing service. Add Taxes. Ground the economy.

The one thing I don't really get is that they printed a big QR code on the bag and then obscured it with a tiny cartoon airplane, maybe for design reasons.

Air Ukraine

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Alexei Sheshenya
Print or Image Color: Blue and Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
Their logo was apparently generated by a kid with a Spirograph.

Air Via

Received From: Thomas Blickle
Print or Image Color: Purple, Green, White
Background / Bag Color: Purple and White
Quite a beautiful bag, acutally. A single, gently curved line gives the impression of a tailfin. Plus the use of bold purple and green is rare amongst bag designers. On the inseam, it says, "Printed in Bulgaria". From now on, I'm sending all my printing to Bulgaria.

Air Via

Received From: Gerhard Lang
Print or Image Color: Purple, Green, White
Background / Bag Color: Purple and White
Quite a beautiful bag, acutally. A single, gently curved line gives the impression of a tailfin. Plus the use of bold purple and green is rare amongst bag designers. Identical to other purple and green Air Via bag except this one stands on its own. Also, on the inseam, it says, "Made in Bulgaria by Evro Packet Limited".

Air Via

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
Average bag with an ever so slighly Cyrillic letter A.

Air Via

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
If you step back and defocus your eyes, the logo looks something like a 2 person water slide. The designation of what this bag is for (air sickness, spuckbeutel etc) is found only within the bag's folds.

Air Vietnam

Received From: Hugh Gilmore
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
Oh my God! What a beautiful bag and an amazing find that harkens back to a simpler time. Clearly an old bag, crafted in the old world wire coat hanger style. A lot of airlines try fancy ways of turning their logos into an airplane, but this bag succeeds -- and simply at that.

Air Vietnam

Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: Green
This bag features Air Vietnam's "plane as a coat hanger" logo. There are instructions on the back which teach me that Cach Dung means To Dispose, an oddly fitting translation.
