OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Malev Hungarian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
I'm just assuming this is from Malev because of the Hungarian words for Air Sickness Bag. Unfortunately, they made the bag overly plain.

Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Blue,Green,White
Malev addes dithered clouds to the bag, making your sickness a pleasurable experience.

Malev Hungarian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2009

Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Green, White
Malev goes minimal, leaving their name off the bag and you to figure out who caused your nausea.

Mandala

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Blue, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
Although branded, the bag has no other instructions or information as to its use. Comes with a 5 petal flower logo (could it be a cinquefoil?)

Mandala Airlines

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
The designers of this bag cleverly used an exterior design that would mask the contents of this translucent bag -- as long as the airline served you blueberries on the flight. Actually, it looks to this student of probability as if they designed the bag using a random computer model. Kind of cool flaming ship's wheel logo too.

As an aside, sickbags are great for teaching foreign languages. Indonesian bags often say, "Lipit Disini" or "Fold Here". On this bag, it says "Putar Disini" or "Twist Here".

Mandarin Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Paul Choong
Print or Image Color: Blue and Aqua
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is printed upside down. This means that if you use the bag and then decide to read it, the contents will spill out in your lap. Probably not what the designers had in mind! Comes with a 90 peg pegboard and a silly M-bird logo. (Ebay)

Mandarin Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Jimmy Chen
Print or Image Color: Blue and Aqua
Background / Bag Color: White
Mandarin keeps the M-Bird, but eliminates the folding instructions in favor of tearing instructions. Otherwise, pretty much same old, same old.

Mangleheads Murderbilia Ed Gein

Received From: Scott Cunningham
Print or Image Color: Black

This is a rare find I purchased on eBay. It seems that in the mid-90s, a movie theater in Lodi, OH printed up special bags featuring mass murderers

If you can believe the bags themselves, they are limited runs of 13

It says
Mangleheads Murderbilia

Manx Airlines

Celtic script along with blocky capital letters.

Manx Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Green and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
The first thing you notice about this bag is the logo which reminds me of Franco Lentini, the 3 legged carnival sideshow guy. Next, notice the use of space, especially in the Caution box. It's almost as if they didn't plan the word spacing very well. Also, notice that the bag is High density polyetheline and can be recycled. By the way, what's a Cabin Tidy Bag anyway? And oh yes, please remember to incur a huge expense for adding one more color (red) to the bag. That red line really makes it for me!

I'm not really sure how you're supposed to supervise children while using this bag. I personally think it would be better to use the bag, clean up, and then take some time to supervise your children.

Mario Ciulli

Received From: Sebastien Maier
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: Green and White
This bag's wonderful design is part of a maelstrom of controversy. The "I'm empty and sad / I'm full and happy" cartoon design is used by Corsica Ferries and others. The design is ubiquitous enough to be a generic, but I believe that the desing has been stolen and proliferated among various transportation agencies. If you have information or the entire story, please let me know so I can edify the public.

Mark of The Devil

Approximate Vintage: 1971
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
I am so sick of these stupid things. They're everywhere in many different forms. This particular form doesn't urge you to "See it soon at a theatre near you" or anywhere for that matter. It's just plain. Bruce Kelly says he's almost up to 10 different varieties of this bag. In fact, he grabbed one I could have gotten when I didn't realize it was yet another variation and one that I didn't have.

Identical to other Mark of the Devil bag, except this one was manufactured by Kard-O-Pak.

Identical to other Mark of the Devil bag, except this one was manufactured by Union Camp.

I recently received a donation of 2 of these bags from shot glass collector David Woitasek. He says, "I found these 2 bags in a piano about 15 years ago". Wow, 15 years!!

Here's an odd version of the Mark of the Devil bag. This one is flimsy, tiny and black (contrary to stereotypes). Anyway, I don't know the history of this, but it seems anathema to the other red Mark of the Devil bags (whatever anathema means).

In 2012, Mark of the Devil was re-released on DVD. This is the new version of the Vomit Bag that came with the DVD. It says
