OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Maersk Air

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: David Harris
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy, Aqua, White
Back to a historical look for Maersk with the Aqua coloring.

Magni Charters

Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Navy, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
Although the name of this charter airline is reminiscent of the Magni-Save on some pinball machines, what I really appreciate is the Fro' Pick logo.

Mahan Air

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Amir Joneidi
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: Green and White
This bag fades from dark green to light green. Interestingly, it stops midway to white instead of going all the way. You'll understand this when you see the scan. Bag features a tiny bullet hole indicating that hostilities are never far away.

Mahan Air

Print or Image Color: Green

Ivy graces this Iranian bag. I suppose some designer might have hidden an Arabic message in the stylized ivy design.

Majorca Song (The)

Approximate Vintage: 1987
Received From: Dave Burgess
Print or Image Color: Tan, Black, Blue, Orange, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: Brown
This barf bag doubles as a sleeve for a 45 RPM record called 'The Majorca Song' by Ivor Biggun. The bag says, "This bag has been provided for your convenience should you feel ill during this records". Unfortunately, I don't have a record player that can play 45s, so I'm going to send it to some guy I know from from Majorca.

Apparently, the lyrics of the song are filthy because one version is 'clean as a whistle' while the other side is 'Only to be played by those old enough to know better'. The record label is Dead Badger Records.

You might recognize Ivor Biggun's "Bra Size 45" that got some air play on Dr. Demento.

Malaysia

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
The design on this looks like leftover wallpaper trim that doesn't go all the way around wall.

Malaysia

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to other plain Malaysian bag, except this one does not say ELAG on the bottom.

Malaysia

Received From: Brian Stevens
Print or Image Color: Gray and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Wow, is this a barf bag, a pot trivet, or the world's largest doily with a Klingon battle cruiser in the middle? Whatever it is, some designer spent a lot of time with either a Spirograph or Benoit Mandelbrot. The thingie in the center of the bag is slightly different than this other similar one.

Wow, is this a barf bag, a pot trivet, or the world's largest doily with an old TV tube in the middle? Whatever it is, some designer spent a lot of time with either a Spirograph or Benoit Mandelbrot. The thingie in the center of the bag is slightly different than this other similar one.

Malaysia

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Gray and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to 2000 offering, except this bag wasn't manufactured by ELAG, as you can see by its absence on the bottom.

Malaysia

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Terry Bredeau
Print or Image Color: Gray and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Via eBay. The bag says, "Beg Mabuk Udara" which is an excellent name for a Star Trek character. In fact, the logo looks hauntingly like the Starship Enterprise. Emesis hobbyist, Y.L. Tan says that this is actually a wau, or kite

As an aside, the instructions on the back tell you to "Yang" something or other, which Y.L. says translates to "who be".

Malaysia

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Tim Gibson
Print or Image Color: Gray and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag differs from the other Malaysia 2000 only on the bottom of the bag, which says, "Specially Produced for Malaysia Airlines", which is a fortuitous happenstance because the airline's logo is printed on the bag.

Malaysia

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Alan Howlett
Print or Image Color: Gray and Red
Background / Bag Color: Gray and White
The bag changes, but still stays within the Malaysian motif, The design actually looks like some kind of background decor they'd use in designing an airport terminal.

Malaysia

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Blue, Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
Simplified and clean lines with instructions on the back.

Malaysian Air System (MAS)

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White, Yellow
Excellent old bag featuring the Klingon Battle Cruiser. Precursor to other Malaysia bags.

Malaysian Air System (MAS)

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Red, Yellow, Black
Background / Bag Color: Red, Yellow, White
For whatever reason the word Mabok has been changed to the more common Mabuk on this bag.

Maldivian

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Red, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Red
"Flying Made Simple" is Maldivian's credo. I can't for the life of me figure out if that's some weird language at the bottom of the bag though.

Malev Express

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Jan-Alexander Lück
Print or Image Color: White and Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue
This cousin of the 2002 Malev bag has the word "express" written on it, reminiscent of the swirly Philippine Tranquil Traveler bag. Also, the design looks more like a feminine hygiene design.

Malev Hungarian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 1989
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
50 Malev's grace this bag. One of the many 'off register' bags, which include Sterling and Air Ostrava among others.
