OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Kathy Cohen
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Kathy got obtained this one when she went to Romania to 'pug' orphaned children for two weeks.

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Petr Hosek
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Tarom downsized the logo and the name, stating simply ROMANIAN AIR TRANSPORT.

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Petr Hosek
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag was hard to classify since they print the identical message anywhere on the bottom half of the bag. It can be printed just shy of the bottom or almost 2 inches above the bottom. Are they all the same bag? Probably, with just some registration errors.

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This Romanian carrier joined SkyTeam and was obviously pressured into placing the logo in huge typeface on the bag. Otherwise, this bag looks fairly similar to other Tarom predecessors.

Tarom

Approximate Vintage: 1970
Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: Tan
This old bag pre-dates the Tarom Logo. I am just guessing the age to be from 1970, it could be much earlier. However, they were still prescient enough to include Romanian, English and French on the bag.

TDA

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
If I didn't know any better, I'd think this bag was manufactured by electronic giant, TDK. The logo looks like the top view of a cake with icing on it.

TEA

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Instructions are eerily Dan Air-like. With all the bags that admonish you for disposing of liquids in the bag, you have to wonder if some American Yutz think this bag is for disposal of tea.

TEA Switzerland

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Frank Mulliri
Print or Image Color: Red and Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
This has to be the least imaginative Swiss bag ever. You wonder how this airline stays in business. Has stars in the folds.

Texas International

Approximate Vintage: 1982
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Blue
Cool bag from an old, out of business airline.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Received From: Linda Weber
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: Brown

Thai Airways

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Magenta, Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Nice retro 70s bag with the admonition to "Get into it". I can only imagine that this means to really get into your heaving, but I have no idea.

Thai Airways

Received From: Lyndell Walker
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai departs from its busy design to usher in a clean big logo, which is used as the basis for future bags. This is supposedly from the 70's, but can someone confirm?

Thai Airways

Received From: AJ Jacobs
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai departs from its busy design to usher in a clean big logo, which is used as the basis for future bags. This is supposedly from the 70's, but can someone confirm? This is identical to the other similar bag, except the bottom says it was manufactured by Cafrico of Bremen Germany

Thai Airways

Received From: Herb Schingoethe
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai departs from its busy design to usher in a clean small logo, which is used as the basis for future bags. This is supposedly from the 70's, but can someone confirm?

Thai Airways

Received From: David Goldberg

Exactly like the 1995 version except has NO tear off strip.

Thai Airways

In English. White tear strip.

Thai Airways

Purple tear strip.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2001

Thai Airways loses a color and goes strictly to a royal purple.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Gilles Beger
Print or Image Color: Purple

What a collector-friendly bag this one is. It's exactly the same as the 2001 offering, except the bottom now says, "Thailand 5-2003". It's signed and dated!

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Alan Howlett
Print or Image Color: Purple

Another collector-friendly bag from Thai. It's exactly the same as the 2001 and 2003 offerings, except the bottom now says, "Thailand 6-2004". It's signed and dated!
