OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1979
Received From: Paul Diamond
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Wow, $1.79 for a roll of film developing. That's excellent! I guess the catch is that you have to develop 126 film. The bag hearkens bag to a time when multi-pupose was king. Not only will this bag hold vomit, but also serves as a film mailer and a gin rummy scorecard. Truly an inspiration.

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1980
Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Eerily similar to the 1979 bag, but notice how the TWA logo has changed from that bag. The prices have gone up too. It's hard to remember a time when it cost $1.79 for a roll of film developing. TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1981
Received From: Benay Smith
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This multi-use bag is good for playing Gin Rummy & Film Developing (as well as nausea).

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1982
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Similar to 1981 model, but if you examine the backs of the two bags carefully, you'll notice that in 1982, you can save 46% to 57% instead of 44% to 54%. I guess this means that someone else's price went up, but not TWA's!!!!

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1983
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Similar to 1981 and 1982 models, but film price went up to $2.00

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1974

The reason this is classified as a 1974 bag is because inside the fold it says © 1974 Universal Film Pak. Ltd. Note that the bottom of the bag is worded differently than the 1975 version.

TWA

First things first. I can't positively determine that this bag is from TWA but it was sold to me that way with a bunch of other old TWA paraphernalia on eBay. And it's obviously old (and smells musty) even if you can't positively ID it.

U-Land

Received From: Sean Chou
Mighty unfortunate name for an airline. Who would name an airline U-Land? Or U-Fly? Or U-Repair? (Hint: the Chinese) I can only conclude that U-Land is a translation gone bad. I'm surprised the bag doesn't say "Please to barf in this clean bag". Cool cursive writing and double carrick bend-like logo.

Chinese expert, Y.L. Tan says: The Chinese name is "rui lian", roughly translated "auspicious connection/link". I hate to say it, but as unfortunate a name as U-Land is, it's far better than "Auspicious connection or link" would be.

Ukraine International Airlines

Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
A short, stout bag with some shorthand notation inside the sun-like circle.

Ukraine International Airlines

Received From: Jens-Peter Taufmann
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
I can't tell whether this pre-dates the other Ukraine International bag or not, but I'm guessing it's newer as it has gone monochrome and dropped the yellow. They also did away with upper/lower case distinctions and added more pointless scribbles in the circle.

Ukraine International Airlines

Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag looks exactly like its predecessor except that the annulus around the logo is now missing. Plus the bag got much taller.

Ukraine International Airlines

Received From: Michael Hall
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow

A short, stout bag with some shorthand notation inside the sun-like circle. This one has normal sized print instead of tiny print like one of its predecessors

Ultra Trash

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
An amazingly well-done bag because the red lettering is raised. Very fancy!

Ultra Trash apparently produces and releases many gore movies such as 'Death By Machete' and others nobody has ever heard of. They pass these bags out to audiences. The text of the bag reads:

VOMIT BAG
BECAUSE OF THE
INTENSE NATURE OF
THE FOLLOWING FILMS,
YOUR STOMACH
DISTRESS MAY OCCUR.

SHOCKING!
FRIGHTENING!
GRUESOME!

WARNING!

UM Air

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
It sounds like this airline was named by an administrative-type who heard an executive hesitate on the phone when s/he said "Um" before saying Air. Very large, very white bag with no closing mechanism and no bottom to stand on.

Uni Air

Received From: Sean Chou
Print or Image Color: Nice Green and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
English on one side, Chinese on the other. The Chinese probably consider Americans (and other English speakers) morons because instructions are given in English, but not in Chinese.

Uni Air

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Thomas Köhler
Print or Image Color: Green and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White, Green, Orange
New look bag with alternating green and orange dot fields plus a bonus U-turn symbol.

Uni Air

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Xusheng Chen
Print or Image Color: Black, White
Background / Bag Color: Green, Yellow
Looks just like the Eva Air bags, but of course it's a Uni Air bag. The bag exhorts you to "Please treasure resource and use sparingly"

United

Approximate Vintage: 1982

WITH Kard-O-Pak. The bottom only says Patented. Subsequent version mention the patent number.
