OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Sealink SNCF

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
I cannot for the life of me tell you what SNCF might stand for. Sickness Needs Come First? So, no coffee filters? Sealink Never Crusies Fast?

As usual, a fastidious Sickbag braniac comes to the rescue. Maciej Babinski says, "SNCF stands for Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français, which roughly translates to "the French Railroad Company". Presumably, the Sealink is a ferry they operate near a train line somewhere. The even have a webpage" Thanks Maciej (however you pronounce that!)

SEFA

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Received From: Arnaud Michel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
According to Arnaud, SEFA stands for Service d"Exploitation de la Formation Aeronautique. It is a French Government training school where civil aviation airline pilots are trained. Only 50 people per year are accepted into the program. Arnaud says, "These bags were printed in the 80's (by the format of the phone number) ... As these bag aren't produced anymore (1 production was done) they tend to be rare to find."

SempatiAir

Approximate Vintage: 1996
Received From: Reid Trummel
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Blue
Small and rather plain bag. Has the give-away magic words on the back "Lipat disini", common on most Indonesian Airlines (such as Merpati and Garuda).

Sepehran Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Mehrad Abolghasemi
Print or Image Color: Navy, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Navy
The logo is an elaborate sea horse. But so is the background on this bag.

Servivensa

Received From: Ulrich Rene
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
If you look too quickly, the airline name looks like 'Serv Mensa', as if they only fly around those creepy losers from the high IQ society.

Seven Air

Received From: Steve Jones
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
I like to think that the airline is really named "Stevenair" and that they left out a letter. The bag itself follows the unwritten universal rule that if the number 7 is in your name, you MUST write it out as a number, much like 7-Eleven and 7-Up.

Seven Air

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Ray Brunsberg
Print or Image Color: Purple and Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Seven Air unveils its enigmatic dendrite logo.

Shaheen Air

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Received From: Pat Roberts
Print or Image Color: Purple, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
This Pakistani bag was purchased on eBay. On the back it says 'Keep Calm and breathe' -bag

Shandong Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Craig Richards
Print or Image Color: Navy and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Now the most important thing about this bag is the instruction "Open here before use". I think it would be pretty messy if you opened the bag AFTER use. The 3rd Chinese character looks a lot like a Rorsach test.

YL Tan, a wealth of bag info, claims the 3rd character just says "bag". I wonder what a psychiatrist would say about that! I see a happy puppy dog facing right with a fat, disfigured tail.

Shandong Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Uwe Behling
Print or Image Color: Navy and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag tells you to "Open here before use", which I think is much better than opening the bag after use.

Shandong Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Blue, White, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: Blue, White
Nice addition of yellow Chinese to the bag, plus blocky blue like a flag at half mast.

Shanghai Airlines

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue and Green
Background / Bag Color: White
This airline probably held a logo contest that was won by the CEO's 4 year old child, who submitted a blue oval with a scribble in it. Instructions to pilot: When you get to the top of the bag, take a HARD LEFT!

Update: Barf Bag authority (or at least Chinese authority), YL Tan, says, "The words on this bag are:
Shanghai Airlines
Vomitting and discarding of fruit peels etc. use
Shanghai Airline Company

The logo is perfectly understandable to the average Chinese; it depicts a stylised imperial crane flying across a blue sky. So please don't diss foreign barfbags you don't understand, OK? :)

Shanghai Airlines

Received From: Mari van Rijbroek
Cool maroon on white art deco bag with abstract particle physics-like diagrams on it.

Shanghai Airlines

Received From: Marla Russel
Print or Image Color: Soft Red, Pink, and Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
The color of the soaring doves gives you the feeling that you're looking at a CGA screen.

Shanghai Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Marcus Johns
Print or Image Color: Red, Pink, Black, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
Shanghai joined the Star Alliance, an oppressive organization that requires all members to change their barf bags in order to mention that they now belong.

Shanghai Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Marcus Johns
Print or Image Color: Red, Pink, Black, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
Shanghai joined the Star Alliance, an oppressive organization that requires all members to change their barf bags in order to mention that they now belong. Identical to the other 2010 bag EXCEPT there is now a plus sign on the back of the bag.

Shanghai Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: Pink, White, Red, Gray
Same as prior bags except they changed the tear strip mechanism.

Shanghai Airlines

Received From: Michael Hall
Print or Image Color: Red, Silver, Maroon
Background / Bag Color: White

This bag is very similar to the other Shanghai Airlines bag that's green and blue.

Shanghai Airport Bus

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Background / Bag Color: White
Wow, what an amazing bag! The first thing you notice about this bag is all the people hanging around waiting for their bus, I guess. All the guys are checking out the mermaid, and why not? When was the last time you saw a mermaid on a bus in China? Now you'll see that the people are suspended from the ceiling on what appear to be airplanes, but inexplicably, each plane is labelled "bus". A winner bag.

Note: Such attention to detail has been paid by designers to this bag, that the people on the front are resting on different colored orbs when they appear on the back.

Shenzhen Airlines

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Shenzhen apparently stole its logo from the pages of a geometry book. You know, the section where they show you how a parabola is really just a slice of a conic section.
