OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Pulkovo

Received From: Britta Bebensee
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Clever airplane can be found in the Russian Arc de Triomphe, or whatever the castle-like logo is.

Cookie Tossing Geek, Y.L. Tan sets me straight and says it's just the Cyrillic letter for P, much like the Greek letter Pi.

Pulkovo

Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Exactly the same as other Pulkovo bag, except nothing is printed on the bottom of the bag.

Pulkovo

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Jan-Alexander Lück
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
It's almost as if Pulkovo, in updating it's bag, took their old design and used it as a stencil to create the new one. The bag says, "St. Petersburg", which I think means Russia, not Florida.

Pulkovo

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Oliver Preuss
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
If you look at the back of this bag, you'll notice that it's OK to put 3 different things in this bag: a cup, a can, or a complex Chinese character.

Pulkovo

Received From: Roger MacRae
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
A chintzy little rubber stamp that says "Pulkovo" and "St. Petersburg" on it. I think it's fabulous!

Pulse

Received From: Jon Barnes
Print or Image Color: Green, Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Why is this listed as a Favorite bag you might ask? Because to my knowledge it is the only non-USA bag (Ukraine) used as a marketing piece. This bag says on the front

SICK OF BAD
SALES?

On the back it says

We can help.

Puma Air

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Blue and Silver
Background / Bag Color: White
Puma seems to be putting forth a very rugged image. A bag to be proud of.

Puma Air

Approximate Vintage: 2010
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Although the pre-cursor to this bag had a really cool puma on it, Puma Air decides to go with the most uninspired design imaginable. They pay the price for this error in judgment because a year later, they are out of business (2011).

Qantas

Received From: Brian Stevens
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
It's the Qantas 84-Q bag! Why do I call it that? The letter 'Q' appears on this bag 84 times with 3 kangaroo logos that from a distance make it look like you're the sidewalk superintendant at a construction site. Or perhaps the bag is actually one of those stereograms that simulate depth if you cross your eyes (note: must have 3 eyes to do this successfully with this particular bag).

Qantas

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag harkens back to a simpler time in the evolution of Qantas bags. Just a simple kangaroo in the corner of the bag. No cumbersome instructions and no complicated film offers, just minimalist artwork.

Qantas

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Black and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
Bag sports the 1972 Olympics abstract human figurine complete with abstract trash can. The cool thing about this bag is that if you use it, you have to wait until the plane lands before they'll give you another one, when 'a replacement will be provided'.

Qantas

Received From: Robert Masumura
The only Orange/Yellow Qantas Film bag. There's a whole lot of text on this bag, but I like the part that exhorts you to "Relive those wonderful memories" -- of your lousy airplane meal no doubt. Note that the guy on the windsurfer is wearing a Speedo.

Qantas

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
For the first time in over 20 years, Qantas eschews the Photo Bag (since film is no longer ubiquitous?) in favor of plain simplicity (and unispired bag design). However, the bag proudly announces the vital message "4A10".

Qantas

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Qantas continues its uninspired line by moving the instructions to the bottom of the bag and bending the kangaroo's knees markedly.

Qantas

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Sadly, Qantas has gone to generic black-on-white bags, a far cry from their former multi-color film developing bags of yore.

Qantas BA98

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Nicodemus Tan
A photo mailer bag from the mid-90's. A very trusting bag, too. You are asked for your credit card number along with your expiration date and signature, and you are supposed to write it on the OUTSIDE of the bag. Not very secure, I wouldn't think.

This is the BA98 bag.

Qantas BC40

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Igor Gordon
National Photo rolls out its Blue Barf Bag. No airline is mentioned but supposedly, this bag has also been used on Ansett.

This is the BC40 bag.

Qantas BC41

Approximate Vintage: 1992
Received From: Kim Decker
Same as all the other blue Qantas film bags. This one's offer expires December 31, 1992.

This is the BC41 bag.

Qantas BF99

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Michael Hall
Same as all the other blue Qantas film bags. This one's offer expires December 31, 1995.

This is the BF99 bag.

Qantas BG12

Received From: Mike Roselle
Almost identical to the blue Qantas film bag, except this bag says that all your photos are inspected. The other bag only says that your 35mm photos are inspected.

This is the BG12 bag.
