OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

RiderPerks Winning

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
I purchased these on Amazon.com. Ideal for Uber, Lyft, Taxi drivers who want to keep their car vomit-free, and most give their riders a 5 star experience. Pack of 5 sick bags with 5 different hipster styles.

This one features Charlie Sheen with the hashtag #WINNING.

Rigaplast

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Artur Garriga
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
I can't for the life of me figure out what the 3rd instruction on this bag means -- and I've got thousands of sickbags -- so how is someone suffering from motion sickness supposed to know what it means? The best I can figure out is don't drop it daintily.

Rio Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1987
Received From: Bob Grove
Print or Image Color: Orange, Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
This old throwback bag is reminiscent of vintage Delta bags of the same late 808s era. Rio Airways was actually out of Killeen, TX which is a pretty tiny metro.

Rio-Sul

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Luiz de Paula Jr
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic

Rio-Sul

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Identical to 1995 bag, except the English has been demoted to the bottom of the bag, unless of course, this is a pre-1995 bag in which case it was promoted to the top in 1995. Identical hyperbola graph logo though.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Steve Thompson
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Rio-Sul: The schizophrenic airline bag. They move the languages around, sometimes call flight attendants stewards, sometimes call them stewardesses, but always seem to change the bag. And why not? They're a Varig company -- well known for bag hopping.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Note the fine brush strokes on this masterpiece. Another fine Poliembalagens product. Yawn!

Rio-Sul

Received From: Richard David Glueck
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Note the fine brush strokes on this masterpiece. Same as other Rio-Sul Gray bag, except this one is NOT a Poliembalagens product.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
This bag might be really dark blue or it might be black. It's hard to tell. I love the 6 hyperbola logo.

Rio-Sul

Received From: Steve Thompson
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Another cursive writing sample from Rio-Sul. Identical to the gray version, except in blue. Another fine Poliembalagens product. Yawn!

Rio-Sul

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
This cursive writing sample from Rio-Sul is virtually identical to the other blue cursive version, except they moved the box to the left and got rid of the Poliembalagans name.

Rocketman Space Gag Bag

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Michael Bergeron
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Disney is at it again! You would have thought they'd completely pulled out of the barf bag business after they discontinued the Star Tours bag, but they decided that a Space Gag Bag was just what they needed to market the movie, so this should probably be listed as a Movie Sickness Bag instead. The bag actually has some pretty humorous instructions:
  • Open bag and place over mouth
  • Quickly fold top over and bend tabs to prevent leakage in-flight
  • Dispose of properly in space Can. Not intended for food stores.
  • Not a flotation device.

Actually, this came as part of an Official Astronaut Survival Kit that included Pop Rocks, Tang, hermetically sealed water in a pouch, Beano capsules, Freeze-dried ice cream, and glow in the dark space decals.

The copy on the foil packet says, "For use only in the event of an emergency outbreak of boredom during long space missions. Use caution when opening this pouch in negative gravity to avoid lodging items in space capsule machinery, personal space suit or helmet. NOT INTENDED FOR ASTRONAUTS UNDER THE AGE OF 3 OR TEST ANIMALS. NOT A FLOTATION DEVICE.

Rocky Mountaineer Vacations

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Pretty cool bag for a domestic USA bag. Looks a lot like the generics used on planes, except for the text of course.

Roller Coaster Tycoon

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Jesse Beaudry
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag came with a CD and video game of the same name. I haven't yet determined its playability, but plan to do so in the near future. I hope the game is as fun as the barf bag is.

Root Boy Slim

Received From: Robert White
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
This is a gen-u-wine Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change Band (with the Rootettes) bag. I've wanted one for a long time, so this is nice to have. At once, it's obvious that there is just a sticker on the front of the bag, which was standard for this bag. You can see that the bag the sticker is put on isn't even generic. It's an old Continental Bowser bag!

The back however, is actually printed on with the words "Boogie 'Til You Puke", which I think is damn good advice.

Rossiya Russian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Aidan Stradling
Print or Image Color: White, Red
Background / Bag Color: Light Blue
Although I suspected that this bag is really for feminine hygiene because it says "Sanity Contayner (sic)", both Aidan and Bruce Kelly assert that it was really used on board for air sickness.

Rossiya Russian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: Aidan Stradling
Print or Image Color: White, Red
Background / Bag Color: Blue
The Russian has not changed on this bag, but the English now triumphantly proclaims that it's an Airsickness Bag.

Rovos Rail

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: David Harris
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
A beautifully appointed black and white bag David writes, "Rovos is [a new airline] owned by Rovos Rail which operates rail and air tours in South Africa."

The bag also says, "The Pride of Africa". I think they should be a little more proud of their continent than declaring a barf bag as their Pride.

Royal

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: David Birtwell
Print or Image Color: Blue and Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
Bag tries to be elegant, but barely misses.

Royal Air Cambodge

Approximate Vintage: 1996
Received From: Chris Roy
Print or Image Color: Dark Blue
Background / Bag Color: White and Dark Blue
