OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Northwest

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Same, but changed closing mechanism and font

Northwest (Cabin Attendant)

Approximate Vintage: 1986
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Same as previous Northwest Orient Bags, but missing logo. This bag says "Cabin Attendant", which was quickly changed to "Flight Attendant" in subsequent bags.

By the way, vomit aficionado Neal Henderson says that the dark color of the bag is a cost saving device so that people don't use the bag for scratch paper. Pointy Bottom.

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1959
Received From: Shirley Halverson
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: Light Blue and White
This is my oldest bag. Its age is obvious when you look at it. It's got a really cool 50's-like Eagle logo and states simply that it's "For Your Convenience."

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1968
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
For some reason, Northwest Orient called itself the Fan-Jet Airline. Is this like Letterman's Fan-Man? Wouldn't Air Conditioning-Jet sell better? The questions abound.

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1973
Received From: Steven Halley
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Red "Hysteresis" logo. eBay $5.

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1979
Received From: Dean Eckert
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Same as earlier red "Hysteresis" logo bag, except they changed Stewardess to Cabin Attendant.

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1982
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Blue "Hysteresis" logo. Pointy bottom.

Northwest Orient

Approximate Vintage: 1965
Received From: Terrence Lee
Print or Image Color: Navy, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Blue, Red
Actually, I have no idea what year this comes from, so I guessed 1965. I could be 10 years off. Still, you can feel the age on this bag, back when Northwest considered itself the Fan Jet Airline, whatever the hell that is.

Norwegian

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Red, White, Black
Background / Bag Color: White, Red
The quote on this bag says it all: "In a while you will feel fine" bag

Norwegian

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Red, Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
Still says norwegian.com but they added a plane in flight.

Norwegian

Approximate Vintage: 2016
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Red, Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
This is an "In a while you will be fine" bag. The front and the back are almost identical, but the back has an airplane sticking out its tongue emoticon.

Nouvelair

Received From: Martin Powley
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: Gray
What an ugly, ugly Tunisian bag. Gray on gray. You can hardly read it because the contrast is so bad and the color is so repulsive.

Nouvelair (Helios)

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: Blue and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
Much like Viva, they decided that a snail best represents their airline. And not as nice a snail as Viva's either. Says "Helios" in the folds.

Nouvelair (Stars)

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Martin Powley
Print or Image Color: Blue and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is the exact same as the other Nouvelair bag, except there are stars in the gusset. The other bag has the word Helios in the gusset.

Novair

Received From: Richard David Glueck
Print or Image Color: Navy and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Although the bag looks recent, the racing stripes so popular in the early to mid-80s give this away as an older sack.

Novair

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue and Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
A GREAT bag. Nice far off perspective design makes you feel like this bag is part of a greater good that you cannot see. Has kind of a rhinovirus looking logo.

Novair

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Oli Friedrich
Print or Image Color: Blue and Orange
Background / Bag Color: White

Novair

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Blue, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag shows simplicity in design, which is another way of saying that it's boring as hell.

Oasis Airlines

Received From: Thomas Blickle
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: White
If the abstract wavy lines represent air flow, the Oasis logo is developing into quite a tornado. And if you stare at the eye long enough, you can see a Chinese throwing star.

Oasis Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
The 18 strategically placed S's create a Chinese throwing star. Very sharp.
