OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

National Airlines

Received From: James Tegart
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: Orange, White, Tan
Exactly like the other ancient National Bag except the logo for Sydney Miami (which is hard to find on the bag and not shown at all in the scan) changed.

National Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 1971
Received From: Michael Jordan
Background / Bag Color: Orange
This is an enormous monstrosity. The bag could easily fit a pair of shoes, subs for a family of four, or a hardhat.

1971 is really just an approximation. Note that this bag is almost identical the 1970 bag except the font in no long bold, plus there's a period at the end of National Airlines.

National Airlines

Received From: Steven Halley
Print or Image Color: Orange and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Sometime in the 70's, National Airlines seemed to have finally got it. They downsized the bag into a rather sharp looking utilitarian device. $5 on eBay.

National Airlines

Received From: Gary Clark
Print or Image Color: Blue, Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Go Coast to Coast to Coast on National Airlines! Which coasts could they mean? Atlantic to Gulf of Mexico to Pacific? Why would you want a stop in New Orleans on your way from Boston to Seattle?

National Airlines

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Orange and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Foreign airline that is different than the US carrier that has enormous bags. Heartbeat logo. Has to be the thickest plastic sack I've seen of any bag. You could package bark mulch in it and it wouldn't leak.

National Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 1970
Received From: Michelle Crane
Background / Bag Color: Orange
This is an enormous monstrosity. The bag could easily fit a pair of shoes, subs for a family of four, or a hardhat.

1970 is really just an approximation. Note that this bag is almost identical the 1971 bag except the font is bold, plus there's no period at the end of National Airlines.

This bag was sent to me by my friend Megan Winthrop who got it from her Mother In Law Michelle.

National Airlines

Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: Orange, White, Tan
Exactly like the other ancient National Bag except the logo for Sydney Miami (which is hard to find on the bag and not shown at all in the scan) changed from upper left on the bag to upper right on the bag.

National Airlines

Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Blue, Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Go Coast to Coast to Coast on National Airlines! Which coasts could they mean? Atlantic to Gulf of Mexico to Pacific? Why would you want a stop in New Orleans on your way from Boston to Seattle?

Identical to other Red, White and Blue version except the bottom of the bag displays a zip code.

NATO

Received From: Paul Bennett
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue and White
You can tell that this was issued by a government agency because it's got a stock number (8105-99-130-2180) on it. Plus the instructions, while precise, aren't all that comprehensible.

NATO

Received From: Aidan Stradling
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue and White
I don't even know if I should classify this as a different bag than the other NATO bag, but it does have a blue stripe and no teeth at the opening of the bag. Aidan says this bag came from the Royal Air Force.

Nature Air

Received From: JK Terry
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This Costa Rican airline takes advantage of the perception that the country is a nature destination. At first glance, one might mistakenly think this bag is from Mature Air, servicing mostly older people.

Navibulgare

Approximate Vintage: 1992
Received From: Ray Brunsberg
Print or Image Color: Blue, Black, and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
Cool God of the Sea type logo.

Naviera Armas

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Knut Wegers
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Odd abstract volcano on its side logo. The Spanish Navy really knows what barfers want!

Naviera Armas

Approximate Vintage: 2013
Received From: Vidas Vekerotas
Print or Image Color: Red, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
A little more corporate than their last offering, but nice bold blocky description with the name still italicized.

Navy Blank Generic

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Itamar Rotlevi
Background / Bag Color: Navy Blue
This is a totally forgettable bag used on TWA, Lan Chile, and others.

Navy Blue Generic

Received From: Christopher Wren
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
This bag looks a lot like Northwest, but without the telltale horizontal stripes. However, the font is all wrong. Ben Guttery asserts that this is a generic used on United, Northwest and others.

Navy Generic

Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Pretty nice looking bag. Good on American and British ships, German flights, Italian vehicles, and ... French ambulances? French Hospitals? Maybe French bars?

Navy German English French Generic

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: David Harris
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
David says he found this bag on Akademic Ioffe, a seagoing vessel in Antarctica. I have also seen this generic in tan, but unfortunately don't have one (yet).

Navy Peel Generic

Received From: Missy Barnett
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
This bag looks a lot like Northwest, and it looks like the other Navy Blue Generic, but this one has a peel to seal mechanism. Small distinction, but I'm overly fastidious. Missy got this on Aloha, but it's used on others as well.

Necon Air

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: Brown
Necon Air pioneers the 3 C's of motion sickness, Close, Clamp, and Call.
