OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Hen Night Stag Party Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Green, Red, Yellow, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
What an excellent novelty bag. There is an outfit in the United Kingdom that distributes Bachelor Party kits, one for men, and one for women (Hen Night). Each kit comes with one of these sickbags as part of the festive contents.

This bag displays a vomit stain, exhorts you to "Place gob here and heave" and comes with the caveats

  • Please Dispose of Properly
  • Do not re-heat
  • Not suitable for home freezing

Hendricks Air

Approximate Vintage: 2016
Print or Image Color: Balck
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is part of some bizarre marketing kit for Hendrick's Gin. The original set came with the bag, a luggage tag, a flask, pins, post card, buttons and other print paraphernalia. The bag says

HENDRICK'S AIR
REGURGITATION RECEPTACLE
PLEASE ENJOY THE UNUSUAL RESPONSIBLY

Hillary Clinton

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Black, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
What a great bag whose subject matter is Hillary Clinton. Even though I have a generally positive view of her, the bag is great! It was released by a guy named Michael Benjamin of the Citizens Committee to Defeat Hillary Clinton. However when you Google the organization, you get zero results so I can only imagine that the committee is defunct.

The front of the bag has a halftoned photo of Ms. Clinton and the following copy:

HILLARY CLINTON:
"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."

. The back says

Is the thought of President Hillary Clinton ...
MAKING YOU FEEL SICK?
Dear Friend,
I'm sending you this "sickness bag" to make a very important point:
Just like you, millions of Americans are felling sick about Hillary Clinton as she seems to be steamrolling toward the White House.
She's a dyed-in-the-wool Socialist and her victory would represent the single greatest threat to the liberties that you and I hold dear:
  • ... Your taxes will skyrocket,
  • ... Abortions will be federally funded,
  • ... Your right to own guns will be severely restricted,
  • ... Funding for the military will be cut to the bone, and
  • ... Illegal aliens will be given a free pass to enter this country without any repercussions.
Perhaps worst of all, Hillary Clinton would have the same people who run the IRS running our health care system!
There is a cure for how you're feeling ...
...But time is not on our side. So I ask that you take immediate action by learning how you can help. We need you.
Thank you,
Michael Benjamin, Chairman
Citizens Committee to Defeat Hillary Clinton
P.S. The cure to that sick feeling you get when you think about a "President Hillary Clinton" is inside. Time is of the essence, my friend...

Hillary Clinton Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag features a line art picture of Hillary Clinton that says, "Socialized medicine makes me sick!"

The bag was put out by a conservative group called Public Advocate USA.

Hills Have Eyes (The)

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Michel Oversteyns
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
A great bag from an awful movie, distributed on the opening night of the film, September 8, 2006. The bag says "The Hills Have Eyes. The Lucky Ones Die First. Prepare for the Worst" Distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Hingham Commuter Boat

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Print or Image Color: Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
I take a commuter boat to work every day from Hingham, Massachusetts to Boston. The service used to have just plain white sickbags, but recently, they have started using this; ostensibly a bag with which to take home leftovers. The bag features a Pizza Chef, a bowl of gruel, and a lobster. I'm sure these bags are not being used for their original intended purpose. I have never seen this particular model of bag get used, but when I went on a whale watch (off-hours, the commuter boats are used for whale watches) people used so many of the old style plain white bags that the ship ran out.

Hispania

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Comedian Neil Edwards says, "There's no such thing as Hispanics. Somebody show me Hisapania on a freakin' map." Well, if nothing else, there's an airline.

Hispania

Received From: Andy Beckett
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Comedian Neil Edwards says, "There's no such thing as Hispanics. Somebody show me freakin' Hisapania on a map." Well, if nothing else, there's an airline.

Similar to other Hispania bag, but this has post-puke instructions in both English and Spanish.

hnair (Hainan Airlines)

Received From: Xusheng Chen
Print or Image Color: White, Gray
Background / Bag Color: Gray, White
I've classified this bag as hnair, but it's really Hainan Airlines, which I guess is the same thing.

hnair (Hainan Airlines)

Received From: Xusheng Chen
Print or Image Color: Red, White
Background / Bag Color: White, Red
This bag has a phone number, a picture of a mouse and the abstract jumping jack logo.

Ho Ho Ho Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Gerhard Lang
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Yes, it's only a sticker on a bag, but barf bag collector, Gerhard Lang sent these out as Christmas cards in 2008, so I had to include it!

Hong Kong Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
This plastic bag is "Water-proofed". Since the bag is already plastic, I wonder what secondary compound they treated it with.

Hong Kong Airlines

Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Gold
This bag is really crowded with text in poorly contrasting colors.

Hong Kong Airlines / Hong Kong Express

Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Gold
This bag is really crowded with text in poorly contrasting colors. It appears to serve on two differently branded airlines: Hong Kong Airlines and (turn it over) Hong Kong Express, each with different logos.

Honggi Suian Express

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Collectors rejoice everywhere! Here is a bus company that has its schedule printed on the back. That means that any time a change is made to the schedule they should re-print the bag. A bonanza for collectors. Perhaps this wasn't a bad management decision. Perhaps people throw up so often on this bus line that re-printing is no big deal.

Horror Society Film Festival

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: MD Wells
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: Brown, White
Yet another cheap sticker on a bag. However, this one was distributed at the actual Film Festival in Chicago on Columbus Day Weekend, 2008.

Hostel Part II

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Black, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
This is ostensibly some kind of Quentin Tarantino film, but I don't know why this one deserves a barf bag any more than any of his other productions. Anyway, Eli Roth's Hostel part II is an Australian production. The bag has all sorts of stuff printed on it such as Travel Safety Tips (that appear to be serious) as well as a chance to win a Sony camera & printer, merchandise, collectable posters, & movie tickets just for going to the website.

Hot Shots 2

Approximate Vintage: 1993
Received From: Jörg Gerle
Print or Image Color: Red, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Yet another cheap sticker on a bag, but I'm not too upset since the word Kotzbeutel (Spitting Bag) appears on this German version of the Hot Shots Part Deux movie promotional item.

Hover Craft

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Petr Manda
Print or Image Color: White and Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue and White
This Japanese hovercraft has an interesting recycle symbol. It's polyethylene, but it's hard to determine whether it's high or low density. Nice italics on company name.

Hover Lloyd

Received From: Dean Eckert
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Although I can only imagine that a hovercraft is a water borne vehicle, Hover Lloyd apparently employed stewardesses. So tell me, is this an airline or a ship line?
