OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Alitalia

Approximate Vintage: 1991
Received From: Kim Fitzpatrick
Print or Image Color: Brown
Background / Bag Color: White
Do bag designers really think they're creative when they make their their A's look like airplane tail fins?

Alitalia

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Pierfabrizio Di Marco
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White
Finally, Alitalia displays some pride by putting their name on the bag.

In a stunningly bold maneuver, Alitalia adds a small triangle to the back side of their bag. Probably a union thing. FWIW, the donor sent this from Vatican City. Perhaps I should direct him to Instant Confession?

Massimiliano (the donor) replies, "Impossible! I visited Rome but I never went to the Holy Seat ... it could be that the stamp had a Vatican subject".

Alitalia

Print or Image Color: Green, Red, Blue

Alitalia is now part of Sky Team, so they had to change up their barf bags as part of the contract in order to reflect that.

Alitalia

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Green, White, Red, Blue
Alitalia goes a bit Art Deco as they join forces with Air One. Still hawking Xamamina for motion sickness on the bottom of the bag, the last place a sick person will look for an ad.

Alitalia goes a bit Art Deco as they join forces with Air One. Identical to other 2012 Alitalia bag EXCEPT there is no Xamamina advertisement on the bottom of the bag.

This bag is the missing link between the 'old' Alitalia and the 1991 version. The amalgamation includes the face from the back of the 1991 bag and the bottom from the old bag. A bag Darwin would appreciate.

Inspection of the inseam reveals the bag behind the bag. One would notice that the manufacturer is not Burgopack Spa, but b.c.l. Imballaggl Sambuca V.P. One inseam also says "hermetic bag" and the other "sacchetto ermetico"

Alitalia

Print or Image Color: Yellow, Black

A very colorful offering from Alitalia, probably from the 1970s or 1980s.

The coolest thing about this bag is not the design you see on the outside, but the inside of the bag that appears to be lined with teflon or silver foil or something like that.

Alitalia

Wow, they're not even trying anymore. Just a small black logo on the bottom right corner of a white bag.

Alitalia Travelgum

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Christian Funch
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Alitalia goes generic with a cheesy serial number-type marking - AZ 64706260. AZ is the IATA code for Alitalia. Furthermore, the bottom of the bag now boasts the infamous "Travelgum" sticker which reveals that the bag's origin is 4/28/95.

Alitalia Travelgum

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Martin Powley
Print or Image Color: Blue

At first glance, this bag looks exactly like the other Alitalia Travelgum bag. However, careful inspection of the bottom of the bag reveals that this bag underlines the words "Contro mal d'auto, mal di mare, mal d'aria" whereas the other bag doesn't.

At first glance, this bag looks exactly like the other Alitalia Travelgum bag. However, careful inspection of the bottom of the bag reveals that this bag underlines the words "Contro mal d'auto, mal di mare, mal d'aria" whereas the other bag doesn't.

Also please note that the serial number AZ64706260 appears only once on the front of the bag instead of twice.

Also note that this bag is serrated.

Alitalia Xamamina

Received From: Roger MacRae
Alitalia's marketing tentacles, not satisfied with being sponsored by Travelgum, go out and woo Xamamina (the Italian equivalent of Dramamine) to advertise on the bag. They keep the cheesy serial number - AZ 64706260.

All Leisure

Received From: Irene Long
Print or Image Color: Blue, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
This completely nonsensical logo is probably some administrative assistant's shorthand for "All Leisure".

Allegro

Received From: Wolfgang Franken
Print or Image Color: Red and Green
Background / Bag Color: White
I don't really know that much about this bag. Bold design, and up to its task, but not cluttered with information.

Alliance Air

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Gilles Beger
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Very similar in design to the Indian Air bag. What I like about this bag is their tailfin logo design that not only carries over the the 'A' in the English portion, but to the Hindi portion as well (or whatever language that is).

Note: Ironically, this airline doesn't fly to Alliance Airport in Ft. Worth, Texas.

ALM

Approximate Vintage: 1983
Received From: Tom Rooze
What is that on the bag? A nuclear blast's mushroom cloud? Stomach enzymes churning up your partially digested food? Nimbus clouds? Whatever it is, it's gross.

ALM

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Peter Black
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
Since ALM is a Dutch airline, it's odd that the two languages they use on the bag are English and Spanish. By the way, desperdicios is about my favorite word for "waste".
