Balkan

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Print or Image Color: Green and Red
Background / Bag Color: White and Green
They changed the logo so they had to print up new bags!

Balkan

Received From: Roy White
Print or Image Color: Green and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
A rather boring Balkan offering sent by the former Yankee 2nd baseman. The gusset says the bag is actually printed in Bulgaria by Advertising Agency Maxim Prestige Ltd.

Balkan

Approximate Vintage: 2002
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
Dull bag that gives you instructions on both sides but the airline name only appears on the reverse side of the bag upside down.

Balkan Holidays

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Gerhard Lang
Feeling sick? Don't worry, it's always a Holiday on Balkan Holidays Airlines. And this beautiful bag just adds to the Holiday spirit.

Balkan Holidays (BH Air)

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Simon Daniell
Print or Image Color: Navy and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Feeling sick? Don't worry, it's always a Holiday on Balkan Holidays Airlines. Nice cumulus clouds look like they may turn nimbus any moment.

Balkan Holidays (BH Air)

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Balkan Holidays downsizes its prior garish bags to something almost too tame and subtle to be of interest.

Bamboo Gallery

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
According to Mr. Shomper, "I got a few bags from the Bamboo Gallery in Japan from a friend of a friend. The Bamboo Gallery is apparently an art gallery and I assume they offer their bags in case the visitors don’t like the art. (Note: All bags are made of the same paper, but the folded patterns are slightly different)

Bangkok Airways

Received From: Herb Schingoethe
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: Navy and Blue
The rope draw string closing mechanism is quite the novel one. It just doesn't seem like it would keep liquids in. Similar to other plastic Bangkok bag, but the upper color is blue instead of white.

The rope draw string closing mechanism is quite the novel one. It just doesn't seem so waterproof to me.

Bangkok Airways

Print or Image Color: Red and Blue

While the bag is kind of Thai, it looks like they stole their logo form the United Jewish Appeal. One of a kind closing mechanism in that they score the folds for you. Oh happy day!

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Red, Gold and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
At first, this new bag seems identical to its predecessor, but upon closer examination, you see that the flame now glows with an added golden color. Furthermore, the closing mechanism has changed to tear-off.

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Gerhard Lang
Print or Image Color: Red, Gold, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White, Blue
Although the logo hasn't changed, the background has tiny logos all over it. Plus there's some kind of Flyer Bonus offer on the web site printed on the bottom of the bag.

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White, Blue
Although the logo hasn't changed, the bag design is a much nicer marketing piece, informing the sick traveler that Bangkok is "Asia's Boutique Airline" with "Exclusive Service to Exotic Gems", although a real boutique airline might use gold leaf on their barf bags.

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: Willy Huang
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White, Blue
Love Earth, Save Earth (by throwing up in this handy bag, I guess). What a great way to celebrate 40 years in business.

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: Mike Newman
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue and White
This bag exhorts you to "Fly Boutique, Feel Unique", just like the other thousands of passengers on board. Apparently they are branding themselves as "Asia's Boutique Airline". Who am I to argue?

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Blue
The bag is now stylized with many different shades of blue that still look like gas company flames.

Bangkok Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2019

This bag is identical to their 2011 offering except they've added instructions: If used please hand to cabin crew for disposal.

Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Background / Bag Color: White
I have no idea what the origin of this bag is. It's completely obvious that this bag was made for vomit, but the image of a guy throwing up shows some whimsy. Who knows where this was printed, why, and if it is used anywhere.

Barf Bag One

Approximate Vintage: 2005
"It's the Official Presidential Issue Barf Bag! The Offical Barf Bag of The United States of America." So claims the copy of this cool novelty item. Of course there is a disclaimer should anyone from the humorless Bush Administration get ahold of this bag. It says, "President Bush did not approve this product nor did our government. It is strictly a functional fun product for personal use with no association to the government of the United States of America or any of its employuees or elected officials." Isn't it great to live in a country where such a disclaimer is necessary?

The back also has pictographical instructions for use. It also says that this bag is "Practical & FUNctional". The bottom shows a picture of Bush holding the bag saying, "I'm George Bush and I haven't approved this product, but unlike dad, I'm always prepared with BARF BAG ONE!"

Barfboro

Approximate Vintage: 1989
Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Red and Black
Background / Bag Color: White
Another amazing bag that makes my heart sing. This bag seems to be the more generic version of Barfboro than the other Houston-centric bag.
