ANA (All Nippon Airlines)

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: White, Navy
Background / Bag Color: Navy, White
If this bag were a pin stripe suit, it would be perfect for most business meetings. But since it's a barf bag, well I guess it's still perfect for most business meetings.

Anadolu Jet

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Red, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Pretty basic design with an odd font. Apparently a really good airline if you need to get around Turkey.

Anadolu Jet

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Blue, Red, Tan
Background / Bag Color: White
Similar to the 2012 model, except the logo was downsized. Plus they added the words UCMAYAN KALMASIN, which according to Google Translate means "When you fly stock". So I guess this is the airline for goats, cows and horses.

Andes

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Ademar L Pian
Print or Image Color: Red, Black
Background / Bag Color: White
I imagine this bag is pretty rare because this Argentinian carrier only has 4 planes in its fleet.

Angkor Airways

Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Purple, Gold
Background / Bag Color: White
According to this bag, the abbreviation for Angkor Airways is AKW. I like that FOLDDOTTED is one word.

ANK

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Olive Green
In an slavish effort to be onomotopoeic, this airline is named for the sound you make throwing up. ANK! Love the 22 peg pegboard design.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 1987
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: White and Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue and White
I wonder why they felt the need to say "Air Mail" on this film developing bag.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 1995
Received From: Jo Boyd
The blue film bag, predecessor of the ubiquitous red one. Reasonably identical to the red bag, but with a different color scheme. Film offer expires in 1996.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 1996
Received From: Chris Johnsen

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Jo Boyd
The film developing offer's expiration date changed from 1997 to 1998. Prices also went up slightly. Also, the bar code has mysteriously become BO97.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: Richard David Glueck
National Photo and its Red Barf Bag. Ansett rolls out its CA20 bag with an expiration date of April 30, 1999.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Brian Wolahan
The film developing offer's expiration date changed from 1998 to 2000. Happily, prices have remained the same! The BO97 has changed to CA98.

Ansett Australia

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Dean Eckert
The film developing offer's expiration date changed from 2000 to 2001. Happily, prices have remained the same! The CA98 has changed to CD18.

Ansett New Zealand

Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag, like the 2000 version, advertises Sea-Legs travel sickness medication (why not Air-Legs?). However, this is an older version whose front side contains different text. I'm not really sure about the lineage, so if someone could inform me, I would be ever grateful.

Ansett New Zealand

Approximate Vintage: 1999
Received From: David Harris
Print or Image Color: Crisp Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
In a bold departure from other Oceanic bags, there are no film offers. Some designer decided to get cutesy and drop the cross bar from the A, making it look like a lambda. Perhaps they're courting the gay travelling population?

Ansett New Zealand

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Finally, a bag that joins Alitalia in selling advertising to motion sickness drug manufacturers. Sea-Legs buys the bag and possibly a big share of the market.

AOM

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Gilles Beger
Print or Image Color: Boring Gray
Background / Bag Color: Boring Gray
This French Airline sells out to its English speaking clientele, replacing Cie Arienne Francaise with French Airlines. Quelle dommage!

AOM

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Mickael Fillion
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Boring Gray
A dull bag from France.

Apex Airlines

Received From: Bill Randolph
Print or Image Color: Black, Green, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Donor Bill Randolph went on a trip to Myanmar and brought me this excellent bag, among others. It says "APEX Airlines The Smart Way to Fly". As far as I can tell, their logo is a dunce cap.

Argentina (LAPA)

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Black, Gray, Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Actually, the gray printing is black half-tone. Don't know why the top of the G is red, but OK, if that's how they want it.
