The instructions are identical to the 1982 and 1983 bags, but for some reason, the instructions now take up 4 lines instead of 5. Has Kard-O-Pak bottom which displays the patent number unlike earlier version which only say Patented.

It's a very darkly colored generic almost the same as the 2004 version, except that it has a serrated top instead of straight.

As far as I can tell, this is the "missing link" bag between the lighter blue United bags of the early 80s and the gray United bags of the 90s. I've never seen another printed on such a dark blue.

The first thing you notice about this Indian carrier's bag is the 7 handed logo of various palm colors. For some reason, the only hand that has a thumb is the green hand. Nobody would (or should) ever confuse this airline with United Airlines.

Although it doesn't mention the company motto on the bag, it's "Fly your own airline", which seems like it could be a safety risk.

United Nations Interim Force Lebanon

Reminiscent of the Unisphere from the 1964 New York World's Fair, this bag was designed for the UN interim force in Lebanon. I have no idea why, but it's a pretty cool bag nonetheless.

UNIX Barf Bag

Comes with the "UNIX Hater's Handbook". The most expensive item I ever bought solely for the purpose of getting a bag. I think it was $16.95 or something like that. IDG Books could tell you for sure. Note: The unscrupulous collector would just shoplift the bag from inside the book.

No need to throw up when you smoothly sail through laminar air just above the violent nimbus thunderheads. By the way, 'schutzfolie abziehen' means 'protective plastic film take off', which is actually pretty descriptive.

I really love this bag. Just paragraphs of instructions. Makes great bathroom reading! Obviously a sea sicknessbag of some sort. Can you identify it?

Dutchman Marco Budding still can't identify the bag, but he does not that "the first language on the bag is Dutch. The text in Dutch is exactly the same as the English text."

The print on the botom is in German, so it must be printed there. (There is a slight misspelling also, the Dutch word for 'thank you' is 'dankuwel' and not 'Dank'.)

This bag was obtained off of a pre-merger US Air / American Airlines flight. It says "Please Don't place used bag in the seat pocket. Notify a flight attendant for disposal."
