Turkish Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2003
Received From: Matthias Koch

Turkish Airlines

The Turks change their bag. This time they move the logo to the right of the carrier name for a more compact feeling.

Turkish Airlines (kestro.net)

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Wolfgang Franken

Now a member of Star Alliance, the Turks change their bag. In the fold of this bag (the part you can't see) it says the manufacturer Kestro can be found at kestro.net).

Turkish Blue Generic

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Gilles Beger
Background / Bag Color: Powder Blue
Gilles told me this was from Turkey, but I was skeptical until I looked at the text in the fold, in which is printed the Turkish URL http://www.cnt.com.tr/.

TUTO (Toss Up Toss Out)

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Green, White
Background / Bag Color: Yellow
I don't know much about this bag although it looks pretty chic. It's got fancy cursive writing along with white polka dots and the clever "Toss up Toss Out" copy. It even has the website, easysicknessbag.com, which is no longer registered so I guess it wasn't that great an idea for a bag.

TWA

Received From: Ron Jones
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
You can feel the age on this one. Just looking at the jet spewing toxic fumes in its wake is enough of a nostalgic throwback to make you feel really old.

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1973
Received From: Melanie Aultman
Print or Image Color: Pukey Yellow-Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
Gin Rummy scorecard, plus a very sick looking doggie.

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1979
Received From: Paul Diamond
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Wow, $1.79 for a roll of film developing. That's excellent! I guess the catch is that you have to develop 126 film. The bag hearkens bag to a time when multi-pupose was king. Not only will this bag hold vomit, but also serves as a film mailer and a gin rummy scorecard. Truly an inspiration.

TWA

Approximate Vintage: 1980
Received From: Jo Boyd
Print or Image Color: Black and Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Eerily similar to the 1979 bag, but notice how the TWA logo has changed from that bag. The prices have gone up too. It's hard to remember a time when it cost $1.79 for a roll of film developing. That's excellent! I guess the catch is that you have to develop 126 film. The bag hearkens bag to a time when multi-pupose was king. This multi-use bag is good for playing Gin Rummy & Film Developing (as well as nausea).
