Light Blue Plastic Generic

Received From: Jo Boyd
Background / Bag Color: Blue
The one remarkable thing about this bag is its unique closing mechanism. Check out the rubber band that's affixed to the bag with a tiny metal tab.

Limousine

Received From: Robert Masumura
When driving your bus on the rainbow, "Let's Keep the Party Clean", exhorts this bag. This amazing bag features 2 birds, 2 flowers, a pond, a butterfly, a rainbow, and a soccer ball. Happy, Happy, Happy!

Lina Congo

Received From: Janusz Tichoniuk
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
I love the clean, crisp bold italic font along with tangrams that grace this bag. Oh, and for you Free Software Foundation weenies, their text editor thinks Lina is some sort of reserved word.

Lineas Aereas Del Estado (LADE)

Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
I'm not really sure that the airline's executives really thought the internationality of the company's acronym very well. Kind of like how the Nova sounds to Spanish speaking countries.

Lineas Aereas Paraguayas (LAP)

Received From: Ricardo Castillo
Print or Image Color: Red, Green, Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Nice green deformed horseshoe crab logo inside a condom.

Lineas Aereas Paraguayas (LAP)

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Nice deformed horseshoe crab logo.

Lineas Aereas Paraguayas (LAP)

Received From: Steve Thompson
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Identical to other LAP bag, except the blue block has moved from the left to the right of the bag. Nice stingray logo.

Lineas Fred Olsen

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Christoph Vogel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
First, I don't know why there's a period after the word Fred. It's not like it's an abbreviation for Fredonia or something. Cool jumping dolphin logo. In fact, the people that originally secured this particular bag said, "Nous avons observe quelques dauphin" which is French for "We hate Americans" (or possibly "We saw some dolphins").

I don't know what the flag means. Can any nautical types out there help?

Lineas Fred Olsen

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
The Norwegians finally make their disdain of the French palpable by dropping French instructions on the bag. Smaller dolphin and world too.

Linjeflyg

Approximate Vintage: 1990
Received From: Bob Greenberg
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
I got this one on eBay for $3. Has a distinguished typeface. According to bag fan Marcus Ahlin (not the running back), The LINJEFLYG-bag can't be from 1999. That company stopped flying around 1990, bought by SAS, and was later resurrected (when SAS had taken all the good flights) in the form of SKYWAYS.

Linjeflyg

Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Blue and Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
Almost identical to the other Linjeflyg bag, except this one is manufactured by ELAG.

Lion Air

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Gilles Beger
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy, Blue, White
For some dumb reason, Lion Airlines re-branded itself as Lion Air, and changed their bag accordingly. A majestic bag feature the king of beasts, a lion. If you ever happen to be driving on Route 1 in Norwood, Massachusetts, you'll recognize this lion from the Rodman car dealership.

Lion Air

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Eric Van Amerom
Print or Image Color: Red, White
Background / Bag Color: Red, White
Lion Air adds an airplane above the lion printed on the bag, advertising that it is 'First to fly', as opposed to swim, I guess.

Lion Air

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Oliver Conradi
Print or Image Color: Red, White

This bag is identical to the 2007 version except there appears to be a manufacturing defect. They added the words "Sobek disini" (tear here) on the back of the bag only there's no tear strip like they probably intended. If you actually did try to tear this, you'd ruin the bag and make a mess.

Lion Airlines

Lion Group

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Gerd Clemens
Print or Image Color: Red, White
Background / Bag Color: Red, White
Looks a lot like the Lion Air bags but this bag is for groups to throw up in.

Lithuanian Airlines

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Steve Jones
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Doesn't Sanitarinis Maiselis sound like an NBA import? A lot of thought went into the logo. It's an airplane made from 2 L's. Or maybe that's just coincidence.

Lithuanian Airlines

Received From: Thomas Blickle
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Bag design patently ripped off of Chinese airlines. Poor capitalization and spacing, but otherwise unremarkable.

Little Brown Barf Bag

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Sarah Phillips
Print or Image Color: Brown
Background / Bag Color: Brown
Brooklyn Artist Sarah Nicole Phillips released this limited edtion bag (only 43 were printed) in early 2007 as a spoof of the Bloomingdale's Little Brown Bag

Livingston Compagnia Aerea

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Gerd Clemens
Print or Image Color: Navy, Green
Background / Bag Color: White
The old Livingston Energy, which only has about 6 aircraft, goes to a modernized version of its bag. Two birds (one hidden behind the other) appear on this bag.
